MISSION STATEMENT

To encourage and support those people interested in expanding their
photographic skills.

BRIEF HISTORY

The Cheyenne Camera Club was formed sometime in the 1930’s.  Our history is
somewhat fuzzy as we have only one member left from that era. Over the years
the Club has met at various locations around town.  For years the City of
Cheyenne made room 122 in the City Office Building available to us.  In 2015 we
changed the location of the meeting to our present site.

MEETING SCHEDULE

We meet on the first and third Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM, September
through May at the Primrose Retirement Center.  The center is located at
The Point on Dorothy Lane at Powderhouse Road.

At the meeting we have photo contests, educational programs and discuss
various photographic topics brought up by members.

We recently added a digital category to our contest agenda.  Almost all our
members now shoot digital.  The new category has been an overwhelming
success.
